Grip Systems
The grip is the link between the hand and the pole and is therefore one of the most important components for power transfer, safety, comfort, lightness and durability. Different activities require focus on different attributes. This is why we have developed an individual grip-strap system for each sport.
Our Trigger System has been defining the market since 1999. In 2020, LEKI once again upgraded this proven technology. A three-dimensional release provides even more control, comfort and safety on the slopes!
The ergonomic shape and cavity technology of the Aergon Air ensures maximum comfort and absolute control while hiking. The rubberized grip head provides maximum grip when going downhill.
Every ounce counts when trail running. The Air Channel construction offers minimal weight and maximum stability. The Shark System also allows for easy clicking in and out in seconds.
Cross Shark
The Cross Shark combines the advantages of a trail running grip with the advantages of a trekking grip. It combines the speed of the Shark System with an ergonomic support surface, making it ideal for fast mountain walking.
Shark 2.0
Our Shark 2.0 is a versatile multi-sport grip. It offers perfect energy transfer and the easiest handling. It is therefore ideal for cross-country skiing and Nordic walking. This versatile grip has also proven effective in roller skiing and trail running.
Nordic FRT
There are few other sports in which the hand-pole connection is as important as in the Nordic disciplines. To achieve maximum energy transfer, the strap and grip must be precisely adapted to the runner. Our FRT system makes this precise adjustment possible.
Folding Systems
Folding poles are now standard equipment in many sports. Their small pack size and light weight make them an ideal companion. The most important feature of every folding pole is its folding system. Our systems place particular emphasis on durability, safety and ease of use. Based on these specifications, we have developed three different technologies.
Push Button
The Push Button is a well known and proven system to quickly assemble and disassemble folding poles with the push of a button.
Core Locking Device
Sleek and lightweight CLD internal locking mechanism lets you quickly deploy the poles or fold them into 3 sections.
LEKI's user friendly ELD system allows folding poles to be quickly assembled and disassembled with the push of the ELD button.
Adjustment Systems
Adjustable-length poles are the optimal companions for mountain adventures. By adjusting the height, the pole can be adapted to all conditions. The pole can be slightly lengthened when going downhill and slightly shortened when going uphill. This "growing with you" pole is also ideal for teens.
Speed Lock
The TÜV Süd-certified adjustment system works with an external clamp for easy adjustment and maximum holding power.
Speed Lock Systems
In recent years, we have further optimized the SLS. One modification is the loss-protection feature for the wheel and lever. Individual parts can still be easily replaced.
Super Lock
The slim internal adjustment system guarantees maximum holding force. The 360° reverse rotation safety also ensures optimum stability.
Basket & Tip Systems
There are different tips and baskets for different sports. In addition to their various technical features, they also have different textures and functions. For us, it is particularly important that most of our basket and tip systems are interchangeable.
Fin Vario
The Fin Vario basket exchange system allows you to adjust the basket size according to the condition of the trail. The S/M cross-country basket is suitable for firm snow. For softer ground, we recommend the M/L basket. The roller tip is optimal for the road.
Smart Tip 2.0
The redesigned Smart Tip is a true multi-terrain performer. The grippy pad provides the necessary grip for poles on asphalt paths. The integrated and extendable carbide tip also grips in meadows, mud and snow. The pad change feature works simply and without tools.
Dynamic Suspension System
The DSS is a vibration-absorbing construction made of elastomer material. According to a study by the University of Tübingen, DSS reduces impact forces by about 40 percent, thus relieving strain on muscles, joints and ligaments. The damping also makes it easier to control the use of the pole.
