The winter Mountaineering collection from LEKI offers a wide range of premium poles designed specifically for snowy high alpine adventures. The poles range from our durable SHERPA collection to featherweight poles like the Mezza Race and Guide Lite 2 Carbon designed for SkiMo racing.
The poles in the SHERPA collection have the innovative Aergon Air grip system. The Aergon Air grips are hollow, saving precious weight but providing exceptional comfort and control. The rubberized top section of the grip makes it easy to palm the top of the poles when descending.
The extended foam grip found on our Mountaineering poles provides additional locations to hold the pole when encountering rugged and steep terrain. Our SHERPA poles are crafted to withstand the harshest conditions while providing excellent grip, comfort, and durability. These 4-season poles can be used in snowy conditions in the winter and spring and transition for use when hiking and backpacking once the snow melts.
